It is a well know fact and WARNING, that the original 'Brick' PSU supplied by commodore was foam filled and overheated as the inside material degraded, causing voltage spikes that can risk damage the c64 computer at any time. andfor this one reason, i have kept this unit in storage and NOT plugged it in to test.
