1985 The Day After - C64 from Mastertronic - A great title to ad to your collection. This software has not been tested so it is assumed there is no guarantee that it will load on your own setup. With any cassettes, machines and cassette players of the era, being particularly 'selective' in their loading systems with aging tape media (tone, bass, volume, fast loaders, compatibilities between machine releases and tape degredation), you should accept this listing as 'sold as seen'.


With any ageing magnetic / storage media of this type from that era, there may also be no guarantee that, even if this software successfully loads on your own system now, that sometime in the future, degredation through ageing could cause it to fail, and this must be accepted. Original release retro titles such as this one, complete and intact in their own case and inlay, (with and even without instructions), in good condition, are becoming rarer and now highly collectible worldwide. This software has not been tested and is a UK release best matched with a PAL based computer to ensure correct framerate playback, may not be compatible with NTSC systems.


All items are posted in either padded jiffy bags, or securely wrapped in brown package/box for shipping. Any items supplied with their original Plastic cassette cases (single or dual) are checked and intact when sent out, but being fragile, and with the level of 'careful' handling by the postal service!  may unavoidably get cracked, which we will not be able to replace, so bear this in mind and accept this can happen. Hints for successfully loading cassette games from retro cassette players. Some branded Datasettes have fixed setting and can't be adjusted, but others on the market had other features. Best to ensure the tape head and rubber roller are clean. Sometimes it is just a matter of adjusting the volume if possible (some players have tone and bass controls also) as the recording on the magnetic strip can fade over decades of storage. All our titles have been stored in room temperature environment during the duration of their life in my care. Again, as storage of the cassette can cause the magnetic spool to shift 'off centre', the tape head alignment may need adjusting slightly. Sometimes a couple of fast forwards and rewinds can re-tension the tape back into better alignment with the tape head. Worth a try. Thats all part of the retro experience from the 80's.
