Force 135 liberation Guernsey Flag 75th neck Lanyard Collectable
Force 135 was a combined military and naval flotilla tasked with liberating the Channel Islands from the German occupation during World War 2. Guernsey and Jersey were liberated and freed on 9th May 1945. The other islands were liberated soon afterwards.
To commemorate the 75th Liberation of Guernsey , we have commisioned a series of collectible items to treasure, honouring both the liberating troops within Force 135, and the Islanders that had endured years of occupation, including this exclusive neck lanyard deisgned for the Guernsey Liberation, along with clip ring attachment, perfect for keeping security ID badges or keys. There are five different images repeated along the lanyard length. Made from strong polyester, with a width of 20mm, the images are, the official Guernsey flag, the old Sports green flag, the Force 135 design, the liberation 75 flag, and the Force 135 crest design
