Guernsey Flag for Liberation Day with Union Jack Flag and Island map
Our own design, to celebrate the freedom of Liberation Day on the 9th of May 1945, liberated from german occupation during the second world war, Guernsey had endured, and each May, the islanders celebrate their freedom. Our new design shows the map outline of Guernsey, with the islands new flag design, embedded into the Union flag, which was one of the only flags in use on the island during wartime.
Flags are genereally 5x3ft in size, colourfast printed onto polyester lightweight but hardwearing weather resistant material, that has been edge stitched, and has two weather resistance grommets top and bottom on the left sleeve section, for mounting onto flag pole rigging. Smaller 3x2 ft size is available.
